I have always been captivated by film and video, so it was only natural that to begin my career I would attend Columbia College Chicago. I graduated with top honors and began my career as an audio and robo-cam operator for World News Leader, CNN.
Following CNN, I came back home to Chicago and found a position that truly expanded my creative abilities with an outdoor-travel television show. I traveled all across North America--from Alaska to Mexico, capturing the beauty of nature through my lens.
In between those video shoots I was honing my editing skills by assembling both long and short form corporate videos, broadcast television, commercials, and documentaries.
I joined with a post-production boutique in 2008 as a Final Cut Pro editor, Videographer, and Motion Graphics Artist. As senior editor there I was able to work on a wide variety of corporate and entertainment videos and multi-media projects.
From there I moved to my current position as Digital Media Specialist at DePaul University in Chicago where I capture the essence and the buzz of collegiate life with my cameras. Currently I have more than 10 years of experience and hundreds of projects in my archive.
As a videographer I shoot to edit, seeing the world through my lens. As an editor my vision goes well beyond the screen, tapping into the soul of the project. And as a graphic artist I strive to create sheer magic from a blank screen.
